Well i just recently put on my Anne Frank quiz after watching Schindler's list. I felt i should pay tribute some how to a holocaust victim; Anne Frank. Anyways today(April 15) about 63 years ago since Anne Frank's first kiss happend with Peter in the secret annex. I never had the chance to read Anne Frank's diary, but did u ever read it? what was your opinions of it? Did u ever go and pay respect to Anne& Margot's final resting place? I plan to do that when im older!

This topic is in memory of Anne Frank June 12, 1929-March 1945 Rest in peace

Hi Janie, I did your quiz and I liked it a lot. I have always loved Anne too and I'm really touched to see that you honour her memory.

I see that you are interesting in the history of what happened to the Jews in WWII and I thought I might recommend a couple of books to you. The first is Mila 18, by Leon Uris and the second is The Wall, by John Hersey. Both are novels, but both contain lots of information about the Warsaw ghetto and the ghetto fighters. I loved both those books when I was in high school, especially The Wall, which is really great. They really make history come alive. Good luck and let's see some more quizzes!

hi there janie nad dobrov

i would add to this list: Primo Levi - If this was a Man. it is a very moving account of life for the Jewish people during world war 11 in poland (i think) and the concentration camps

Hi allynellie pod dobrovem, Primo Levi is an astounding choice. Another book in the same vein that really affected me was Playing for Time, by Fanya Fenelon. Fenelon was a member of the orchestra at Auschwitz and her story is just overwhelming.

thanks for your recommendations dobrov, i haven't read these books and will endeavour to do so. Primo Levi's book really touched my soul - it was a very moving account of events.
