Started working on a photo quiz template today (about skyscrapers) and a few of the photos show up as X's when I view them on the template. Does that mean there was an error in the load or is it just my machine?

I've had that problem occasionally when the picture file is quite big. Sometimes using a lower resolution image or cropping it down helps.

When that happens, scroll to the top of the page- there will be a message there if the picture is too big.

I was worried the file might be too small.

Yup, that was it. Weird because I had cropped the photos out of larger pictures, but then I remembered I had shot them in RAW and they were still large files.

Problem solved. Now just to finish a few questions for that one so I can submit it.

I'm not entirely sure as to whether I have asked this question before, but here goes.

My latest photo quiz went on-line today and so I thought I'd have a look and see how it looks. I was surprised to see that the images in my last two questions are ones that I had used prior - I don't like to delete templates, preferring to delete everything, save and then re-use. It is a concern that someone playing this quiz may get to Q9, be asked a question about a work by Cimabue and be confronted with a picture of my dog relaxing in our garden! Hahaha

Is this just something that affects the template on my computer? I've not had any messages of complaint during the last couple of hours, so I'm assuming that it is?

It appears that each photo quiz may benefit from having its own unique template right from the outset.

Probably a caching issue in your browser... can you post the URL to the quiz?

I've just played your quiz and all the photos seemed relevant. Disappointingly, no sign of your dog at all!
