In the Brain Twist:
1. How do we go about filing a correction notice, since there is only a link to send the author a compliment?
2. What if the author hasn't been here in a long time? (like 12 years, which means they're pretty unlikely to return)

1 Choose send a compliment. When the screen where you write the note opens, choose the "Send a correction" radio button. Write your correction and send as normal. (It works, I just tested it.)

2 I'll see the correction note and deal with it, even if the author is long gone.

Here's a 'New' one:

I got a correction notice for one of my photo quizzes. The player was correct and I needed to change a photo. I did so and resubmitted the quiz. The photo was verified and the quiz was put back in play again. It now has a 'New' icon next to it. That's not necessarily a problem (even though it's had 246 plays and 54 ratings) but when it went back online it didn't show up in the new quiz listing on the home page and it doesn't show up in the Member's Quizzes section of my team boards (it's well over a year old). Is it going to take another 20 ratings to get rid of the New status? I don't like to see that icon lasting longer than 3 weeks on a quiz.

Have I stumped the editors on this one? I'd really like to get rid of the 'New' designation.

If it's an actual bug with the new designation then none of the editors will know; it'd fall directly to Terry (or maybe Wes) because it's a coding thing-- not a queue thing.

If you're talking about quiz 375201 (State-ly Fishing?) then I have no idea what happened; your summary of the issue is correct. My only guess is that something on the site thought the replacement of whatever image you needed to fix justified it as being a new quiz again. In two and a half weeks it should go back into the rated quizzes pile. Heck, it may even (and will likely) do so on Monday during the weekly calculations.

Those anomalies though. :s
