FunTrivia.com NHL tipping competition, aka, let's see who wins the most brawls on skates: - George95 comes out of nowhere and zooms up to 5th, leaving his rungmate from last week in the dust. He and Howie72 took the weekly wins with 11 each.
- Two games were picked by two each, but no one had more than a single bonus point this week. Ozzz2002 and George95 had their money on Florida at home against a team that had won 18 straight, and N-Bomb and wwe84 weren't blue with their pick of the Blues in San Jose.
- ElfTwinkle and dg_dave hold up the rear, with the former catching the latter and probably knocking the latter into the cellar, where he sits in NCAA basketball this year.
- Scores ranged from zero to seven, and one game had 11 goals!
- The home/away grouping was completely random this week.

- Three take the Spoon, with dg_dave now holding up the rear...as was predicted last week!
- Only three bonus poitns went out this week...one each to the top two, and the other was toocool4u, who shared his with illiniman14 by picking the Senators to win away. Gtho4's was completely solo, as he had the hide to pick Arizona.
- Scores were also all over the table, as were we.
- Several games went to OT this week...including one that I could have gone with either team...Caps/Stars.

- Of all the weeks gtho4 had a bad one, so does everyone else, and gtho4 only sees his lead cut by one.
- No bonuses went out this week...not a single one.
- Somehow we didn't have faith in Arizona...maybe because San Jose has a decent hockey team and Arizona doesn't?

- Several bonus points went out this week, including two to N-Bomb, who jagged the Kings loss at home, and the Blackhawks loss at home, the latter shared with ElfTwinkle. Both ozzz2002 and wwe84 gained theirs for their wild pick of Detroit over Sidney Crosby and the Penguins. Detroit must have kept themselves off him and not picked up an double majors in that process...

- Sypher should have gone deafult, as he took the Spoon with his five score, which also dropped him to his lowest position all season.
- Toocool4u did just the opposite, although not taking the weekly win, he did set his highest position all season.
- Vancouver gave all the bonus points away, except for LeoDaVinci's stellar effort...which were also the only two he missed. Toocool4u and ozzz2002 both had faith in Vancouver winning in Los Angeles, and dg_dave took them in Anaheim.

- All awards went out at the bottom of the table, as per last week's standings. Both ozzz2002 and dg_dave took Spoons, although both had a bonus point, so ozzz2002 stays five ahead of dg_dave to stay out of the cellar.
- Howie72 finally got his first bonus point, getting 12/15, and shared that distinction with Sypher. Sypher picked up a further bonus point with his Buffalo pick, shared with ozzz2002.
- Can illiniman14 keep the gold for the last six weeks? We shall see...

FunTrivia.com NHL tipping competition, aka, let's see who wins the most brawls on skates: - The NHL season has come to a close. In a battle, gtho4 comes out on top of illiniman14, but did not keep the top spot for one week.
- George95 takes the bronze to round out the podium, so we had an Aussie, an American, and a Canadian on the podium.
- Since the Devils fan I know can't root for his own team in the playoffs, he is rooting for Montréal and Columbus in the first round. We shall see how that goes.
- Until next season, everyone, score a goal (but stay out of the crease doing so).
- Of note: gtho4 is the only tipper to go Spoonless all season. Will look to see how many weeks he went the previous season.

- Tips of all homes (or all homes bar one) or all aways (or all aways bar one) are NOT eligible for bonus points
- Dead-heats : Weekly wins vs wooden spoon countback will determine podium finishes (if they are identical, bonus points will be used)
- Deadline : Drop of the puck of the first game each round ... default score will apply if tips are lodged after the 1st game has started
