Another stellar week by all, as we hit over 72% correct as a whole. The only tipper to fall below 50% was our Spooner, wwe84, however, ozzz2002 just clips that threshold at 8/15. LeoDaVinci rounds out the single scorers.

Seven bonus points go out this week, as four players hit on 13, and three more hit 12.

We went all or nothing on two games, and hit on only one of those...we all picked the Warriors to win in Sacramento, but the Kings needed an extra five minutes to knock them off. San Antonio had the easier target.

LeBum and Co. paid off the officials again and got back to their cheating ways...knocking off New York by only 7, so the officials weren't paid as much as they were last week.

I didn't dog Matt Ryan (NFL MVP), Aaron Rodgers (a Super Bowl champion), Stephan Curry, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Alex Ovechkin (Capitals player), Max Scherzer (Nats pitcher who has thrown two no-hitters), or Justin Verlander (Tigers pitcher who is dating Kate Upton to boot). I don't even dog Drew Brees, who torched my high school alma mater in the 1996 state title game by the score of 55-7. Tom Brady is a cheat (Deflategate), Sidney Crosby is the NHL "favorite" (anyone touches him and they get a double major in the penalty box), and LeBron James is the "golden child" of the NBA (barely touch him and you get a flagrant-2, which results in a automatic ejection). Pay-Fraud (also known as Alex Rodriguez) was a doper and was not worth the money MLB paid him, and he played for the Rangers for a few years (you know how i feel about my Rangers - sorry, Sypher, the "better" Ranger team, which hails from Arlington, Texas...lol). * I picked big names in all four of the major sports in both cases here... If you scored nine, raise your hand. All who have hands raised were awardless this week, as the Spoons went out at eight, and the winners scored ten.

We did what we did last week in going all or nothing, and just like last week, we went 1-for-2, and both involved Texas teams. Houston put the Smack-down on Phoenix at home by 31, but the Knicks had other plans, defeating Pop and Co. by four. We also had four instances of one red herring, and two hit paydirt...LeoDaVinci's pick of Milwaukee winning in Indiana, and ozzz2002''s pick of Detroit winning in Toronto. ElfTwinkle and N-Bomb fell short in their bids of Dalla losing to Orlando (crushed by 32), and New Orleans over Sacramento (who won by six), respectively.

LeBum and Co. paid off the officials again and got back to their cheating ways...knocking off Denver by 16, but they were at home, so it made it easier for them. Ozzz2002 and Sypher were looking for an upset and hoping for a clean 5-on-5 game...not with LeBum in house!

Sypher went out on a limb and did his crystal ball get him going this week! He only missed the Lakers defeat to San Antonio.

The bottleneck behind srini701 is still a small twelve points separating nine players.

Now that that is out of my system...on to the other results...

With four weeks to go, the podium is not in focus at all. Which three of the top six will reign supreme? Even illinima14 in tenth is only ten points off the podium, so with a couple of strong weeks could mount a comeback of epic proportions.

Boston was a shoo-in to win...or so we thought, as no one picked the lowly 76ers to win. Both Howie72 and ElfTwinkle knew that Memphis would have San Antonio's number that night, and to round up the rest of the bonuses...dg_dave picked Portland to win at South Beach.

With three weeks to go, the podium is still not in focus. There is still a ten point swing down to joint 8th.

We all expected the Clips to beat down the Kings, but the Kings had alterior motives and won. On the flipside, San Antonio was picked by everyone, and we had one lone red herring pick the Lakers to win (no, it wasn't LeoDaVinci, as he went default), the Suns to win, and the 76ers to win again. Two other games had two break ranks, and a further three went with three breaking ranks.

Just two weeks left until the final buzzer...who will come out on top? I can tell you right now it will be one of the top three.

Several games did not go as expected, and we missed 50% for just the second time all season. Six games were picked by no more than two, hence the reason the winnign score was nine.

LeBum had had enough and told the officials to give him the game after they'd played 53 minutes.

Just fifteen games left to greet us to the finish line, and four players are fighting for three podium spots. Who will fall short?

Atlanta got some revenge and told the refs to call a fair game, and they came away with a one point win at home. As four players picked it, no bonus points were given.

Two games were picked by no one, and four further games were picked by less than five, so again, the winning score was nine. We barely eked out 50% this week.

Who will reign supreme...srini701 or dg_dave? That will be determined with the final results. *keeps everyone in suspense*

The final buzzer has sounded for the 2016-17 season, and srini701 takes home the gold! He had the top spot for about half the season, outside of week 19 when paper-aero pipped him.

Just as he did in NHL, paper_aero took home a Spoon in the final week of the season.

George95, illiniman14, and srini701 keep their Spoonless streaks intact into next season...will look to see how long they had gone prior to.

Three players posted late, and two didn't post at all, although ozzz2002 never posts in mid-week threads.

As for awards, three of the top four had six weekly wins, and both ElfTwinkle and ozzz2002 had equal countbacks, taking eight Spoons each. Wwe84 fell just behind them with seven of his own. Two other tippers had five weekly wins each, including our leader.

The bonus point king was dg_dave with 13, second place went to Sypher with 11, and ozzz2002 rounds out the top three with an even ten.

Sypher lost out on bronze on a countback (Sypher's +4 lost to dg_dave's +5).
