I thought it might be a good idea to post something about friends on funtrivia who have passed away over the years. Some of you might not even know who has left us and really wonder about them.


What sparked this? A good friend ranbun (Randy)died last night from sudden cardiac arrest. He was a really kind, funny and wonderful man. He will be missed.

Others who I know have passed include desertcat (Bev). Bev was quite a character and very competitive. She was warm and caring.

globalworld (aka globalmyths) (Bruce)was always ready to carry on on the team message board. He loved people and had a total love of geography. He enjoyed photography, taking pictures of flowers, frogs, birds and so on.

maskman22 (Craig) was a great music lover, having enjoyed many things in the music industry. He was friends with Gracie Slick from Jefferson Airplane (Jefferson Starship). Craig had a super fun sense of humor and always eager and willing to help anyone.

We lost Jolie and I just can't think of her user name on funtrivia. She was very special, had a great blog, beautiful poetry and a wonderful heart.

Everyone we have lost is missed.

Please add, to this thread, those that you know of, who have passed away. I really think that a tribute to our funtrivia members is a much needed topic here. They have all contributed their time, some of them wrote quizzes, their humor, their love. Let's honor them here in this topic thread.

RIP, Randy. He was, indeed, a kind, funny and wonderful man, and was a mainstay of my first team when I was the leader at Animal Farm.

Randy made the very first post on The Regal Beagles, December 10, 2008 ~~

"Hi! I'm Randy. I'm tired of being on teams where drama is king. I just want to kick back, relax, play trivia and most of all...Have FUN doing so!"

Jolie was drivemecrazy, we had some great chats on live messenger and could have met up if she hadn't lived about 300 miles away. Being here is no different to my own family, and when we see photos and films of us from 15 years ago many faces have now gone from both as well.
