Hi, I'm learning Spanish and my homework is to create a quiz. Once I have had it checked by my teacher can I post it here, or do all quiz questions have to be asked in English?
If this is the case, would be OK to do the questions in both languages, i.e. the question in English followed by the same question in Spanish - answers in Spanish only.

Thanks, gracias,
Bree

Hi Briseis, I am an editor in the World category which handles language quizzes. I will try to answer your questions, but I do have some of my own as well.

The questions in language quizzes (including Spanish) must be in English, but you can certainly include a Spanish translation. You could even ask a question in Spanish, but simply use English to set up the question. For example, you could ask:

Quote:
How would you answer the following question in Spanish: "¿Cómo te llamas?"

Now for my quick question:

Is your homework to create a quiz on your own and post it here specifically, or is the assignment simply to make a quiz and you decided you would like to post it here as well? I only ask because we prefer that teachers work with us first before giving an assignment that requires a student to post their quizzes here.
