This song reminds me of the Family Guy episode where Peter won't stop singing the song and Brian & Stewie buy every last copy of it. That's actually what prompted me to put it up! I proceeded to explain to my daughter that it was a big hit back in the day, but she refuses to believe me.

After the extremely famous Beach Boys, here are the at least as good but far less famous Jan and Dean. I only discovered them about 20 years after they started, they were never played over here for unknown reasons. Surf City
