I was sat on some rocks having lunch at my local beach today when I was approached by a small flock of around thirty Turnstones. This individual clearly relished the idea of a part of my sandwich over his usual diet of sandhoppers and small crustaceans, so he came over to say hello.

I would never have guessed pit bull from that photo.

Esther (my fiancée) saw Roxy's mother and said she was a full-blood pit bull.

'Man and Boy', Brixham, Devon - This life size bronze statue, located on Brixham's King's Quay, was designed by sculptress Elisabeth Hadley and is based on 'The Wheel' an earlier work by Brixham artist Arthur Briscoe (1873-1943). Its purpose is to commemorate both those lives lost at sea and the contribution made by the fishermen of the Brixham fleet. The statue was paid for through public donation and was unveiled on the 26th of November 2016.
