Thanks, Terry. I meant this to be a heads up for those who might not be on the GC page.

Love these Global Challenges!!

Is the Brain Twist division advancement broken? I see a lot of people who have above 100% in Division 1...

Oh, duh. Dailychallenge_globalchallenge was still turned off. Braintwist saw that and assumed the GC was off, and so didn't do a level check.

I've flipped that switch... the level checks will occur next time a GC point is earned. Good catch Wesley smile

EDIT: I just saw the thread with Calpurnia. Evidently no fix is possible. Oh well, tht's life and it really isn't that big a deal.

Would this be a good time to ask if any solution is now possible for the problem of the people who earned Immortal early on not showing up as Immortals (one being ... me)? E.g., my profile still says highest level reached is 9, geniuses, but I did earn the Immortal badge long ago. Same for indicators not showing it in lists of players. I realize this may be impossible but thought I'd ask. Not a huge deal, but it is an irritant on an otherwise fantastic site.

Clyde

Not sure what is going on. It is taking me two tries to submit every GC game this round. I'm not playing Hardcore this time around, so the time penalty hasn't meant that I lose all my points, but it is still very frustrating. Has anyone else had the same trouble? The first try gets an eternal twirling circle adn then i get an error saying it took too long to submit. When I do backspace and resubmit, I get the delay but it does go through.

PS The same thing happened here in the forums.

Someone seemingly wasn't happy with a one-question win. She wants it by a mile and then some! (Great run, rossian!)

Well, it was a very narrow squeak last time. I have been helped this time by the two people ahead of me missing a few sets - one, at least, of them due to holidays. There's still a long way to go, so no chickens are being counted yet.

Great job all. And we are still a bit away from the first non-immortal passing the threshhold.

We've now reached one-third of the target, with the tenth new Immortal reaching the top division today. Twenty more to go. Shuehorn is right -- people are really playing well this go-round!

By the way, the Category Chat Boards' "Immortal badge" thread has a running list of all the "Immortals-to-be" by player name.
