Thanks from me, too. I had to wait for the update, as you warned, and have changed back to smooth scrolling. So far, so good!

Things seemed to be working fine after the update until this afternoon, and now Chrome is slower than molasses and I can't do anything with it.

I am far from computer literate but was having the scrolling problem yesterday and the way I overcame it was to get out of Fun Trivia and into my email side of things and then go back again to Fun Trivia and all was fine. May not sound techinal but it fixed it for me.

If you're having difficulties with Chrome, try using Opera. It's a great browser. Your problems will be solved.

Never had a problem with Netscape. Wonder why it disappeared? And though we all get notices to do updates of our software, I am convinced many troubles are caused byt ISP software updates that aren't fully tested before implementing. IOW some service providers update their handling codes which might cover Chrome just fine but bleed like heck when faced with Internet Explorer.
And you'll never hear a word about it.

Or you could try Pale Moon. Also a great browser. Never have issues with the mouse. Works great in Windows and Linux.

Some people like Waterfox, but I found it to be slower than Pale Moon.
