Technically it is different, as you can miss some countries and double up on others. But essentially you aren't doing anything different. I don't think the counter there is set up to check for different countries, because it just registers a day's completion, and you get the badge when it reaches the magic number. (If someone had immense patience and no interest in learning about other countries, they could get the badge by playing only one country 195 times. Of course, it would take 195 circuits, which is over 100 years, so you might want to hand the task completion on to your children.)
