I was just wondering if there was any thought to having quizzes that were both match quizzes and photo quizzes. I think there are some topics that would really lend themselves to that format.

I also like this idea. Its viability comes down to Terry. :p

I might be a space issue - match quizzes want to be compact so they fit a screen even on smaller devices, photo quizzes need enough space to display the photos.

I share Wesley's thought. The conciseness needed for a match quiz is a burden for the use of photos.

I could see it working to have the photos as the answers, with the words needed being allocated to the question. This would be a massively different template, and require setting up photos as answers, not as part of the question, as they currently are. I think having only a photo as the question would be too ambiguous, and having both a photo and a question would require too much space, as others have said.

Thanks for the answers so far. I hadn't considered the changes needed for the template or the need to see the whole quiz on a phone (even though I'm writing this on a phone--go figure). I think it could still be interesting whe.n simply a picture could be the answer such as a photo of Abraham Lincoln in a people quiz or an image of a blue shape in a quiz where you identified the words for colors in a language other than English. That said, I don't think the match/picture format would ever make up a large percentage of FunTrivia quizzes.

I was actually thinking of an instance where you matched a photo question with a photo answer. :p
