Retrieved from: http://www.owgr.com/ranking

3. The lowest 4 total scores from each tipper’s fivesome will be added together to make the final score, and the lowest total score wins.

-A golfer must finish the first two rounds in order for his score to be counted towards the total

The lowest score from each tipper’s fifth golfer will serve as the tiebreaker. Should that be the same, it will go to the fourth-highest score and so on.

Sign in with your teams below, and good luck!

  • Howie72 and wwe84 both hit 1108 despite only sharing 2 golfers. They were only separated by the tiebreaker, where Howie72 went with Ryan Fox, ranked 95th in the world and wwe84 went with Phil Mickelson, ranked #26. Fox was cut with a 146 and Mickelson had a 150, giving Howie72 the victory. Congrats!

  • With his 24th birthday coming later this week, Jordan Spieth ended his last week at age 23 with a victory at the Open Championship. Down 1 stroke after a bogey at 13, he finished the final 5 holes at 5-under par, and won by 3 strokes over Matt Kuchar.

  • Only 3 of the 10 tippers chose Spieth, who is now only the PGA Championship away from a career grand slam. The most popular golfer was Tommy Fleetwood, fresh off 4 straight top-10 finishes, including winning the Open de France. He was the only golfer taken by a majority of tippers. Fleetwood finished at +1 and tied for 27th.

  • Spieth led from day 1, tied with US Open Champion Brooks Koepka and Matt Kuchar at -5. He led alone at -6 after Friday with Kuchar only 2 strokes behind. He gained another stroke on Kuchar on Saturday, and maintained that lead on Sunday. Spieth found himself down by 1 stroke after a bogey on #13 Sunday, but came back with a near hole-in-one on #14 and birdied the hole, then followed it up with an eagle and another 2 birdies. Kuchar finished the final 5 holes at -1, leaving him in second place.

  • The other big news of the tournament was Branden Grace’s score on Saturday. Grace, who finished tied for 6th, became the first player to ever shoot a 62 at a major championship. It was not the most under par a player has ever been at a major, since Royal Birkdale is only a par 70, but history was made nonetheless.

  • The All Not Taken Team was led by Haotong Li, who shot a 63 on Sunday and was the leader in the clubhouse until the final grouop. Li, Matthew Southgate, Branden Grace, and Chan Kim would have netted a winning score of 1103.

  • The major year will wrap up at Quail Hollow Hill in North Carolina on August 10.
