I can't get it to work

I got it to work for FT avatars but not from my computer. Will we be getting some pretty avatars to pick from in the future? This one makes me look like one of our previous Prime Ministers.

Thought I'd have a play on the new link for avatars and received this message:

The avatar referenced at the time is the bunnie with rose glasses from the FT choice list.
And then I can't transfer That One to here.

Done and everything seems to be in place

Worked beautifully for me. Essential first step is getting the image onto my own computer for uploading, as I do for a photo quiz. Today an avatar, tomorrow the world!

I did it

A team member (The Bees Knees) noticed a discrepancy in our monthly rankings that didn't seem to track. It appears that the Final Team Ranks Page did not update the stats (although the header says July).

Also, on the Team Information page, the 'Monthly Pts' in the Team vs Team Stats didn't appear to have reset for August.

Dagny -- there was an error with team resets this month and it ran a day late. So our July had 32 days.

The month should be reset as of about an hour ago.

Terry, please take a look at our PM thread. There's an issue with private tournaments that lends itself to possible abuse, so I don't want to describe it here.

So here's an odd one, don't know if it has to do with the new server or?

I played Team Heroes today, but my name isn't coming up on the list of top scores. Based on my score, I should be third in line. I wondered if for some reason the game hadn't registered, but when I click on it now, it says "You've already played today".

I'm not too bothered about my name not on the list, but does this mean my score is not counted toward my team's ranking today?

Wonder if you're in some kind of small vs. large team black hole with exactly 30 active members? Your team's not appearing in the Heroes list at all.

Edit: In particular, looks like you'd have started the month (day?) as a large team, and I think exactly 30 puts you at small now.

Even so, other members of the team are listed, including ones with smaller scores.

We migrate fairly often between small and large team, but this has never happened before, at least not to me, and nobody else on the team has ever reported it that I know of.

I fully presume this is tied into the manual cleanup that had to be done today to force new monthly totals to be calculated. Or you see dead people :P

Wondering if the people you see all played before/after you? I could go to your info/ranks page and see you in the list. But, your entire team isn't appearing in the main game page listing with all teams.

It's happened to another player on my team, not sure if he played after or before I did.

It's on our message board now, so we'll get some information from various players that might help figure out what's gone wrong.

And yes, the two issues must be related, I'd think.

Here's what happened:

You were a large team at midnight.
6 players played from your team.
I ran the monthly update, which turned you into a small team.
The system only allows 5 player scores counting for small teams.
It refused to add more. This gave you a permanent size of 6, making your team for scoring purposes ineligible for either small or large.

I deleted the lowest score of the 6 and it should now recognize your team as small. Unfortunately it missed your score.

That's not a problem- we're far from being in the running for Team of the Year. Thanks for figuring it out.

About the avatars ... Anyone have advice on how I can shrink the photos on my phone so I can upload them to FT? It's an iPhone. I don't know what model but I got it used in Sept. 2015 so it's from before then.

to be clear, these are the steps I need to take:

Try to get Internet on phone (that's an iffy thing), resize them on that website, save to phone as new pic, try new URL from Terry, and hope it works?

Still reading this even though it is now 3:06 or 3:07 AM CST

If I had a PC, I'd be able to resize the pictures myself. But I don't have one and am unlikely to get one anytime soon. As much as I miss Quentin's picture on my profile, I'll have to figure this out when I've more time to do so.
