Sypher is this week's winner with 6/12 .. and two of them were solo picks for a bonus point! He also scored a bonus point for the Sunderland game and yet another for the solo weekly win .. put all of that together and he climbs up into 3rd place, a new personal high for the season.
Last week ElfTwinkle was one of two weekly winners. This week she collected a wooden spoon and fell to 15th on the ladder, a new personal low for the season .. illiniman14 was the other wooden spooner. He continues to bring up the rear of the field.

N-Bomb will break the oldest record for any FT tipping comp, being consecutive wks as leader if he's still there at the finish post. This record was set by Copago in the FAPL comp 16 yrs ago in 2001-02 at 39 weeks, and equalled by Howie72 in this comp in the 2015-16 season.
In prior years week 29 of the FLC comp was abandoned when too many FLC teams progressed to the Fourth Round of the FA Cup. This year seven of the eight games were rescheduled to Tuesday mid-week and only one game was postponed. In other words, N-Bomb will not suffer the same fate as Howie72 two seasons back, when he won gold as leader for 39 straight weeks (and not 40 weeks).

illiniman14 collected another wooden spoon to make it three straight, but he wasn't alone .. we had eight wooden spoons this week! The spoon score of 6/12 was an all-time high for the FLC comp and has been entered in the FLC Record Book (see post above this).

After a run of three straight spoons, illiniman14 is this week's winner with 7/12, and it's a solo effort. He picked three draws and all three hit pay dirt. We had a full house this week with 16 of 16 lodging picks. We had three MIA in the previous round, which was mid-week.
N-Bomb is still our leader, for the 29th consecutive week, but he's no longer alone .. for the 5th straight week ozzz2002 has again reduced the deficit, to zero points (it was 10 points five weeks ago). From there we have a 5 point margin back to the peloton (it was 4 points last week and 3 pts the week before). It's starting to look like a two-horse race.
Dizart collected back-to-back spoons and gtho4 scored back-to-back weekly wins. Between us we averaged a mere 23.9% and earnt ourselves an entry in the FLC Record Book. We've had a lower strike rate on just six occasions since 2006, when this comp started. We achieved the all-time low of 20.5% in week 16 of the 2010-11 comp.

Six weeks ago N-Bomb was leading by +10 pts, but it's not the biggest lead to evaporate in an FLC comp. That honour belongs to gtho4, whose lead of +11 pts was mowed down by ElfTwinkle back in the 2007-08 comp. ElfTwinkle won the comp and gtho4 finished off the podium!

Last week N-Bomb saw his streak out front end at 29 wks when ozzz2002 replaced him at the top of the pile. It took six weeks for a margin of +10 pts to evaporate. This week ozzz2002 is one of two winners with 10/12 plus a perfect near-miss bonus and is now 5 pts ahead! When asked how this was possible ozzz202, an NRL Roosters tragic, replied: "Vegemite each morning with my corn flakes."
srini701 was the other weekly winner. Last week he collected a wooden spoon with 2/12. When asked how this nine-point turn-around was possible, srini701 simply said: "A full plate of curry each day."
wwe84 collected this week's wooden spoon with 1/12, to make it back-to-back spoons. Between us we averaged a strike rate of 56.2%, which earnt us an entry in the FLC Record Book.
