This is an image taken at the 2017 Bristol International Balloon Fiesta... At the end of the evening the balloonists parade inside the arena, inflate their balloons and fire their burners in rhythm with a pre-recorded soundtrack... It's worth the wait!

I've discovered the best results of night photography are leaving the camera on auto. All the clever settings don't help at all. This is in Deptford.

Not at all David... Turn off that program and switch to manual; try some real photography!

I spent a few years trying three different cameras on night vision, tripods, every possible setting, but the good one set on auto does it best but puts long rays either side of lights as that's how the lens sees them.

Another traditional pub, this time in Woburn - a small village just outside Milton Keynes. I went to lunch there yesterday with Barbarini who is in the UK on vacation; it was great to see her, the food was good, the weather was perfect, and we had a great time!

Haha! Looking down the road past the Black Horse, in your photo I can see scaffolding. In my photo, all gone!

I think that's the first time two people have done the same shot here, I may be found wrong. I've spent the long days doing as many places as possible before the clocks go back, and only really have Somerset left next year to extend my total distance.

I don't know of the story of the tower in Epping but it's now part of the car dealership.
