Nearly twenty messages were deleted from my quizzyland mailbox a few minutes ago - the newest messages, not the oldest. I wasn't viewing it at the time, and even I can't hit delete that fast, so was there a glitch/reboot I missed?

I don't care that much but anyone out there who's been moaning at me for modding their posts on the Chatboards and who hasn't yet had a reply... don't blame me, blame the server which was very even-handed and just deleted the lot!

I thought that most messages are only deleted on a time basis, the only exception that I (personally ) can think of is when someone is spamming in which case all their sent messages will be removed en bloc.

I'm trying to resolve this with flopsy in PM.

At a loss what could have caused that... can't see anything in the logs about you deleting them, so it wasn't you.

Can you explain what types of messages were deleted? I can see the most recent as Aug 13, 9 AM from Blackdresss.

Are you saying you received 20 new messages since then, and all 20 were deleted?

I've come to the conclusion that it was a lot less than I originally thought, my home page read 54 but then went down to 36 - but I realise the first number was probably cached so we're talking maybe 2-6 but there were certainly messages there after the one you mention and they've now gone.

It's solved.
