Yes, I noticed that, too. Some of it has been up for a while. Hope this does not start a trend!

You will have noticed that FunTrivia forums are generally kept spam free, any spam is rapidly removed and the offender banned.

We are always very grateful to our members giving us a heads up with any that does slip through so that we can deal with it quickly. Please don't assume that someone else will report this sort of thing, better to be alerted two or three times than to permit the spam to remain.

This new member was already on a 'watch list' by moderators but obviously that isn't always the case.

Our procedure for accepting new forum members involves them being checked when in the registration queue and some applications are rejected immediately, such as three this morning, but others normally get accepted provided they have followed certain procedures and are not too obviously spammers. Sometimes we are suspicious, such as with this particular member, and those are placed on a 'watch list'.
