In reply to rossian's post -
I'm not sure that it's the background that's the issue. There isn't a clear enough distinction between the dark blue text not clicked on and the black text for what has been clicked on. Highlighting isn't the right description. We don't mean the yellow line, but it used to be easy to see a clear difference between names, for example, not clicked on (blue) and those you had (purplish red). This still works on the 'players near you' list, for now at least. Trying to see one slightly darker name in the middle of a list of names which look almost the same colour isn't easy and it used to be.
I agree with rossian on the difference with seeing what you have looked at before. The black against blue is pretty indistinguishable and the purple was much easier to see quickly. I have this issue also. On the upgraded pages: if something is a hyperlink to a page which has not been accessed recently it is bright blue. But if it is a hyperlink to a page which has been accessed the text looks black and is indistinguishable from text which is not a hyperlink. The font seems skinnier than previously, so it's hard to see if there is a difference between black text and blue-black link. On the pages which have not been changed: the text for links which have been accessed recently is purple so it's clear that it's a link. I have found that if I hover my mouse over the text it will show an underline for links, but previously I could recognize links because of the different color rather than taking that extra step. I'm on a computer with Internet Explorer 11.

I liked the old format where the game results showed players and teams that you were following in a better highlight. Now the black "highlight" beside the blue names is almost impossible to differentiate and track. I just checked and it certainly doesn't highlight team mate names.
What you should be seeing is a scoreboard with a very light blue background, with blue text for links you haven't clicked, and a blackish/blue text for those that you have.
Are you just saying that the background blue is too dark? I'm not sure that it's the background that's the issue. There isn't a clear enough distinction between the dark blue text not clicked on and the black text for what has been clicked on. Highlighting isn't the right description. Yes, I never meant the yellow highlight band in my original post, so I put highlight in quotations for lack of a better term. The reddish "highlight" appears on several pages, but several others like the hourly results have been changed. Can we get them all back for a consistent display?

On the main Expert game page there used to be a link called "Hall" that led to the page that showed the list of players with the most Expert wins. Just noticed that it's not there anymore.

When playing the Mixed quizzes one of the options is take me back to where I was, but it takes you to Duels, not back to the Mixed quizzes.
Also when clicking on an individual subject# and then clicking on new it used to take you to new quizzes in that subject now it just goes to the complete list of new quizzes.
Maybe that’s what’s meant to happen but it seems weird.

Not sure what was changed where. Here's my front Duel page as an example: http://www.funtrivia.com/duel/And my Duel 2nd page ("more"): http://www.funtrivia.com/duel/scores.cfmThe blackish/blue for previously clicked ones is just too subtle compared to the purple on the "more" page. I think that the font over on the "Today's Dueling Topic" list looks thin and anemic for some reason (maybe it's the same font as the other, but it just has a different appearance there, and I've noticed it elsewhere in the new changes also). I'm using 110% zoom level too, btw.

Hi, I'm reposting in case the earlier feedback on this fell through the cracks.
PROBLEM: Some pages are now too bright and hard on the eyes. (Another player also posted about this.)
Example: Click on the Daily Game, and the leaderboard and box containing "Play Timed" and "Play Untimed" has a nice pastel green background. That's good!
The box right above the leaderboard appears to be pale pink. Too bright, but tolerable.
Now, please click on the Mixed Game, for example. The leaderboards appear to be a very pale pink. They're too bright. If you could change the color back to the pastel pink or any color similar to the pastel green, that would be great!
Also, once you click Play Now for the Mixed Game, the background containing the answers appears to be gray. If you could darken the gray a little, that would be great!
PLEASE NOTE: Prior to the design changes, my eyes were very happy, and I had no trouble.
Thank you for listening!

The links at the top of this page: http://www.funtrivia.com/playquiz/quiz3900232ca5c50.htmlWhere it says "Home » Quizzes » Music » Music Mixture" need to be changed to the underline style. The black box around them makes the first two "Home" and "Quizzes" unreadable because they are links I've clicked on in the past. I tried a few of the other new quizzes on the home page but this is the only one I've found with that problem. Sorry to be such a thorn in your side.

Just realized that all the Match quizzes have that same problem with the links at the top. The HTML ones have those links underlined when you hover your mouse over them.

Posting this again in case it got lost in the shuffle. There have been a few people on the Expert game chat board asking for this link to be put back. Plus, a chance to quote myself.

Terry there are still a few sporadic screens, usually results screens or pre-play screens, where I am seeing the issue of content pushed off into the rkght hand margin as discussed on page 12-13 of this thread. Is it worth posting about these individually whenever one crops up or will they be caught over time in regular maintenance? Yes please post the URLs where this is happening. I don't regularly test on very old browsers, so I am not seeing those issues myself.
