The top section has the Daily games on the left, Hourly games on the right. Middle section is Author Central and Author's Kitchen on the left, AiA and TRIC on the right. All as it should be. It's just the Gold Members section that has everything all on the left and blank space on the right.

This not a major issue for me. If it's something on my end, I'm not going to worry about it. The only reason I posted was to let Terry know in case the Gold Member section was not supposed to display that way.

There was an issue, but I fixed it yesterday. Can you try clearing your cache and reloading?

If it still happens, what browser and version?

Cleared the cache and it didn't help anything. It's still like it was. Google Chrome version 49.0.2623.112

I'm way overdue for a new computer, so maybe that's part of the problem. I'm still running Vista. (I know, I know)

An Alienware tower would be nice. Santa are you listening?

Version 49.0.2623.112? I'm on Version 62.0.3202.94!

Try this:

Top right of Chrome toolbar, click on the three dots (looks like a colon with spots), then mouseover 'Help' and click on 'About Google Chrome'. In the top 'section' you should see an option to update Chrome - click on that and update your browser. Chrome is supposed to update itself but I imagine that somewhere along the line that feature has been disabled. Good heavens, Wolfie, v 49? shocked

I quite liked Vista so I won't comment on that but I do hope Santa brings you some shiny new Windows, preferably 10!

I might be slightly crazy Flopsy, but I'm not stupid. crazy

Just joking, I know you're trying to help. smile

I know how to update Chrome. It just won't let me update to a later version than 49 because my OS is no longer being supported. Which is why it will not even update itself. There's not even an option to update on the "About Google" page. I even went to the official download page for Chrome and tried doing it that way. But nope, still v. 49. And that is why I need a new computer.

Now that I'm done going around in circles, I think I'll lie down and look at the clouds for a while. tired

Well crap...I was hoping it was a universal side effect of tinkering and not exclusive pain reserved for mobile...or worse...my ancient browser which seems to be at war with the upgrades.

It is seriously messing with my timing. I can't even see the letters/clues upon entry and have to scroll past what looks like a cmbo of the home page minus images..my favorites bar and a few other odds and ends

Sorry Dire. It didnt feel so aged until these upgrades started but it has exposed my weak underbelly. I swear when Terry asked what I am using to troubkeshoot one of my problems I swear I heard him chuckling somewhere in the distance... "holy crap...they still make those?!?" wink

Oh and incidentally. Crystal Ball is back to normal for me. Mudt have been a tinkering intermediate.

I had a problem with my browser where it wouldn't play any flash content for two days. I tried everything under the sun to fix it, then it just fixed itself like magic.

You just have to chalk it up to being one of those mysteries of life. wink

Not sure if this is related to the update or not, but I was just awarded the Monster Quiz mini badge for reaching 40,000 questions, but it says I have only reached 39.976. No big deal, as I would certainly reach 40k in another day or so, but I thought I should let someone know about this.

Can you take another look at the layout of the games already switched over? The hourlies have their play links off to the right, but the dailies have it centered as it was in the past. I'd personally prefer to keep centered but could get used to right. It just should be consistent.

Dave, Monster Quiz seems to be a very trusting game. It often awards the minibadge a day early.

I like the new My Quizzes: Recent Scores page (that's my favorite font) but there's no link to leave it.

I do have a request if anyone is willing to take on this task:

I'm looking for a complete run-down of ALL the ways to earn FunTrivia points on the site, for the new, organized help section.

I am fairly sure at this point that many of you have a much better idea than me how to earn points here and how much you earn in different places. Frankly, I've forgotten, lol.

If anyone could compile such a list that would be great help!

If we really want to catch all of them, I suppose a collaborative document would be best. I'm pretty sure there's so many a single person will inevitably miss some.

I've set up a Google Sheet for this purpose; everyone should be able to edit it.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_Ezu-V4RMLHHpESH0LEN87bxYu6Elaxl2peAUnG4nSg/edit?usp=sharing

I'm making a few entries immediately to show the format I'm looking for. Any help is welcome smile

All the changes are looking just great.

I've got to learn how to find everything again, but that's ok because I never did in the first place. It's MUCH simpler this time around.

The excess blue is still not to my liking BUT that doesn't mean it's a problem. Just a preference. I think I miss the strip of yellow down the side as contrast (where our names and profile pictures go), but fortunately that's still the case in the team room which is where I spend a lot more time.

Congratulations to date smilee

Ugh. I rarely used the drop down menus except for the Level Perks. I extremely dislike the move to Find It On A Drop Down Menu that FT seems to be moving to. The lettering is smaller, the space between links is almost nonexistent. That makes for a lot of fat fingered mistakes on tablets. Is there any way an option of a toolbar instead can be made?

Wesley, if I may offer a suggestion. It might be useful to add a 'comment / note' type of column to the Google spreadsheet. A lot of the ways to earn points have some ... details ... that wouldn't be immediately obvious to a new(er) player. For example, on a quiz -- no points after the first play, nor after the first time you rate it. And that a quiz awards double points (in HTML mode) if it's been online over a month and has <20 ratings. ... Those kinds of things; I won't belabor the point.
