Unless I'm missing something it seems like there's no way to get a new quiz listing other than going to each topic. Also I can't find mixed quizzes.

Homepage menus are the way to do that right now. They will be organized nicely in the quiz section shortly.

I'm not a mobile user, but I think what you're doing to better accommodate them is great!

Anyway, while the profile looked different, I noticed that "My Friends" had disappeared from the pull-down menu. I hope that will be preserved or perhaps even enhanced. I really like that feature since it makes it easy for me, for example, to see which Knockout tournament my friends are in. I'm not a member of a team yet, but even once I join, I expect I'll have friends who aren't on my team that I'd like to keep track of.

I do have something positive to say about the site change. Before, the match quizzes didn't fit properly on my laptop screen, no matter what I did. But now, they fit nicely. So thumbs up for that!

Also, I wasn't suggesting we shouldn't accommodate mobile users. As a matter of fact, I think it is really important to do so!!! And it also benefits users of older technology who are frequently marginalized from the Web, and I am very much in favor of closing the digital divide! My main complaint was simply that I like the "classic" menus rather than the pull-down menus, and so I would like to retain these as an option.

Terry, if it's not too much trouble - since you're working on reformatting much of the site - would it be possible to include a "return to where you came from" button on the Mixed Quizzes page? Presently, the only option is to return to the Home Page.

Something else I have noticed, there is no Mail link at the top of the page in the new site design. So if the new design were implemented on all the pages, we wouldn't be able to read our mail!

The Mail link is there top left hand corner of the page

I've been using the mobile site via my phone to play quizzes for a while now, but since the new upgrade when I load a quiz I can't see anything that tells me if I have already played a quiz unless I go to the category page, find the quiz and see if it has a green tick next to it. Previously I used to get the red message underneath the quiz description when I loaded the quiz. I can still find the red message on the full site mode to the left of the 'available formats' section, but that message doesn't appear anywhere on my screen when using mobile mode on my phone. Am I being my usual technologically challenged self and missing something? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Fixed.

The mailbox is on the top bar far left if your browser window is large enough. It gets hidden if your window is smaller than a certain size.

I have added a second Mailbox link under your "Your Stuff" menu for small-screens / mobile.

Play one of them and from the results screen you can only go back to the home page, rather than choose to return to the list of new quizzes and go on to the next one.

Does that make sense?

Can I just chuck in an oddity I just noticed please?

Play one of the hourly games. When you get the answers screen you have the option to play the quiz a question came from. So normally you either can play the quiz or else get told the question was from the question quest. Today I get a message I haven't seen before -
saying that the quiz had been deleted. Is that related in some way to the recent changes, or just a coincidence I'm noticing it today?

Can you paste the URL of the quiz that said that?

Terry, it's hourlies and dailies including GC. It's the issue I mentioned before - the link is trying to call quizdetails.cfm with a parameter quiz=123456, but the page wants id=123456.

I suppose you might want to accept both parameter syntax variants for compatibility (i.e. check for "id" first and if that's zero or blank, check "quiz" instead.

Hmm I fixed that last night though Wesley to accept both.

I just tested it from a GC result before posting and it didn't work. It does now, however.
