Things are looking pretty good, Terry. One thing though if you don't mind - quiz links aren't showing a different colour after they've been clicked on. Is it possible to put that feature back? Thank you! Hmmmmmmm yep that seems to have gotten lost. Cleaned up the main quiz page: http://www.funtrivia.com/quizzes/index.cfm

It does look nice. No loss of quirkiness either.

Cleaned up the main quiz page: http://www.funtrivia.com/quizzes/index.cfm Terry, prior to your upgrades, on each category main page the four "daily quiz selections" would change when the page was refreshed to show a further selection of quizzes but right now they're stuck showing the same four each time the pages are updated. Is there any way to add that extra feature back? It was a nice thing to have. Many thanks.

I can add a link or something though to "other suggestions" or something.

There were definitely more than four and probably no more than 15 or 20 altogether but they would cycle through and would eventually, as the page is refreshed several times, all be shown. It was a great, quick option for those "play # quizzes" or "gather # questions" for the daily challenges.

Don't know if this is part of the design upgrade, but just noticed that all the Duel topics have a list of recent scores now. Not just the topic of the day. A nice addition regardless.

Yes, I experienced it - but it seems to be fixed now. There's now a big link underneath the scores box.

Is the current format, right now at this very second, the permanent format for Duels?
Or are you still working and tweaking everything?
I had to play a few Duels really quickly at the end of the day, but now I'm going in there to really check it out. However...
If that's the new format, I really, really don't like it. Things that are large are HUGE, which is almost everything. I had to scroll to the bottom of the page to get back into Duels, and I was seriously rushed for time because I was warming up for TvT. Having to scroll to the bottom of the page is the norm for the Topic Of The Day, but generally not for every single topic. That probably sounds small and petty, but it was taking far too long when I needed to really race through a few of those.
I couldn't immediately see who won, if anyone. I didn't care in this case; I'm going to care from now on, though.
Do you know what I'm talking about, or do you need more details?

This listing of top scores for all duels was something that several other players found wonderful. I don't look at them, so just find they add tedious scrolling, but clearly it is a popular feature with some players, who are more competitive than me.

Hmmmmmm... Sorry, I didn't see that other people love this Duels feature. It just slows me down, but I play everything I possibly can in Quiz Mode. I just like it better. Scrolling to the bottom of the page is just tedious when you're trying to blaze through everything. And everything about who did or did not win is SO HUGE!
Here is something else that is "new" and it might be on my end, but just in case...
Making my Fantasy Picks tonight was a minor nightmare. I lost my first four picks when I couldn't get back to "Make My Picks." It just disappeared and I had to start over. Completely over, going from the Home Page back into Knockout. Thank goodness I could start over and it didn't just lock me out.
Then, after starting over I couldn't get back into "Make My Picks." I had to hit the back arrow and hope for the best. It all worked out, but it wasn't anything like smooth or easy, and generally it's a breeze, although I do put thought into my picks. So losing four of them was... odd.
Also? On some of the Chat Board threads, lines are going completely off the page to the right. This is also new.
Do I just need a nap and some Earl Grey tea, or are these little buggy things that are also bugging other people?
Oh wait, here's a really weird one: I clicked on my profile, and the entire thing was black. As black as night, with my avatar and some bright blue text. I hit recycle and it was fine again, but...
I think I'm going for that Earl Grey tea. If I'm the only one experiencing this sudden oddness, it's just the perfect ending to a completely nutty week.
I don't know where to post all of this! I don't usually have problems with the site, but tonight almost everything was wonky.
But for the record, in case this is actually the new Duels format? I really, really do not like it. At all. Duels are a contest, and supposed to be FAST! Not being able to just bounce into my next topic throws me completely off, and I really do bounce. I don't go down the list, I bounce all over the topic list. Duels are fun -- sluggish Duels are like hitting a brick wall going 120 mph.
I swear I'm not complaining -- I'm just trying to report a few oddities. Except for the new Duels format. That, I really don't like.

Don't know if it's possible, but can the recent scores list on the Duels page be made collapsible? Like a link that expands when you click on it.
That way the people interested in them can still see the scores and Blackdresss can maintain her sanity.

Duh! That's a way easier method than what I said.
