Not sure if this is what Blackdress is referring to or not, but it happened on our team chat board not long ago (and once or twice before in the distant past). It was back to normal when that thread page filled up and moved on. In this case we think it was caused by a very long link.

I just played a new quiz through my phone and there was no option to rate it at the end. There were links to send corrections or a compliment though.

Single page mode. It was the only one available. Quiz name 'Ten of the Best'.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but anyone else find the Mixed Quiz results page really hard to read (the first part)? The green is okay, for the per-question checkmark and score, but black (for the abbreviated questions) and medium blue (for "Display Entire Quiz") aren't very legible on the dark-blue background.

I found the same thing when playing from my phone. The section that shows the recent scores and gives the option to rate seems to be missing. There's just a narrow, blank white band where it used to be. I also played the quizzes in single page mode.

One other little thing, by the way -- when I completed a quiz (on my PC), at the bottom as usual was a short "suggested quiz" list -- you know, the ones you can choose to have the site take you to next if you choose one from the list. Anyway, anytime I moved the mouse over any of those quiz titles, the whole line would black out (and then reappear after I moved the cursor). I can screenshot it, Terry, if you'd like to see.

Ditto.The link at the bottom of the page takes you back to the main page. I was playing a quiz list and it took me back to the main page rather than back to the quiz list.

The old main quiz page used to show the featured duel of the day and a link to the scores. It's gone AWOL since the new page has been developed. Any chance of bringing it back again please?

I see also that the scores for all the duels that we've been seeing over the past week or so have been removed. It was great to see them. Can they also be brought back or is there a reason for them not being made available?

It’s the scores page of any of the mixed quizzes in interactive mode. You can’t read the answers and percentages.

A small aesthetic thing - on the results page for Duel / Topic Mash, the blurb says:

"You may score once in each topic each day. Feel free to play this [Category] Topic Mash again today as much as you like, but keep in mind your score will not count.

We have matched you with player xxxx"

The category is in bold but the matched player is not; I find myself briefly hunting for who I was matched with. It would be easy to spot if the matched player's name was also in bold (it is underlined but the line is so thin that it doesn't draw the eye).

Another small thing on the results page for Duel / Topic Mash, I have asked before - my score is smaller than the person I am matched against. Could it be of equal size, please?

My name is the same size as my opponent's in that list - unless they typed their name with a lot of upper case letters, in which case it looks much bigger than mine, which is all lower case. The numbers for the scores look to me to be the same size. And both statements apply whether I won or lost - I just checked. Both in the list of Recent Results that disappears in a few minutes, and in the static list summarising my results for the day.

Of course, the value of the actual numbers is an entirely different matter - when my number is smaller than my opponent's too many times, I don't see much green in the table.

Yeah, I agree, Terry. I'd like to see more green in the table listing my Duels of the day too. Could you fix this for me and LT?

Haha! Direwolf, that is so kind of you to be concerned about saving my sanity. Much appreciated. (As an aside? Whenever I see "di" as the first letters in CB, I always toss in direwolf. I can't help myself. I just know eventually it will be the winning word.)

And yes, I think what Dagny mentioned is what I was seeing -- long links that ran the posts off the right side of the page. I'm assuming that's it. I'm not seeing it today.

Right now I have a cute little "Search the Web" in a triangle in the middle of my screen, though, following me everywhere, and I have to try to peer around it. I don't know where it came from; I'm assuming it's my problem and it will fix itself. Or not.

As long as my Profile once again looks like my Profile, and Duels aren't as maxed out with information, I'm happy, my sanity has been saved, and I'm going to assume there are a few bugs to be worked out.

I'll just keep reading all that's happening in here, and if I see something that hasn't been mentioned but is ongoing, I'll toss it into the mix.

What happened to the old drop-down that allowed me to access the remaining mixed quizzes after playing a mixed quiz? I like to do them one after another, and now I have to go back to the main page to access the drop down.

Is there a way to have the complete drop downs accessible after playing games? The current drop-downs don't show anywhere near as much information as those on the home page.

Yes, the new drop-downs are designed to simplify the entire website.

Instead of adding another link to the drop-downs what I'll do is add a "Go to where I came from" link at the bottom of playing a mixed quiz.

The intent is to have a single, simple set of drop-downs. Fewer options, leading to each logical section of the site. That is the menu-design paradigm of 2017.

The current menus have far, far too many choices for anyone who is new(er) to the site. Not to mention that there's quite a bit of overlap and outdated stuff in there.

I suppose we could have an "Expanded" version as a GM option or something, where individual daily games, etc are in the menus.

An odd thing has happened with the last couple of quizzes I have played.

When I finish playing, and rate the quiz, if the radio button



is ticked, it takes me back to the main Play page for that quiz, instead of to a quiz list or other location. This isn't very useful.
