i have recently been looking for games that raise the points to advance in the "brain" list.

it seems as if the hourly and daily games and instaquiz and the like give those points towards "brains" but not the regular player-written quizzes.
is there any way to check that this is not just my observation?

(I had brains and tri-points mixed up in my mind so I deleted the original post as it was incorrect.)

Brains are awarded to the top 500 scorers each day at the end of the day. No one quiz type is the key to earning brains. You just have to earn enough points to be in the top 500 that day.

However, if you are not a gold member, and you have played more than your maximum of quizzes (100?) for scoring, then you will not get points towards the Brains ranking when you take them. You will need to play the daily and hourly games, and maybe the quizzes generated by the Quizbot. Or give up a few cups of coffee, and become a gold member, so everything counts, and you also have access to a larger range of games.

okay - that makes sense
i checked and if youre not a gold member (like me) only the hourly and daily games get counted towards "brain points". and some other stuff and some bonuses (leveling up in global challenge for instance).
quizbot quizzes do not add to brain scores.
