LOS ANGELES, June 29 — Rosemary Clooney, the mellow-voiced singer who costarred with Bing Crosby in “White Christmas” and staged a dramatic comeback after her career was nearly destroyed by drugs and alcohol, has died. She was 74.

And what a beautiful singing voice she had. She will be missed by many people of my generation who never met her but will remember her with fondness for the music she provided to us. God Bless.
