Today I installed Skype as I had been using the web version since starting to use this computer which is (I know) Windows 7. Today the web version said they were busy so to install it instead, something it wouldn't let me do earlier in the year. I installed it and it worked fine so that I could chat to Ren - we type rather than voices.

Anyway the text size is very small and I cannot increase it by Ctrl+. Having investigated I should do it by clicking on tools along the top menu and that is my problem, that bar is not active, it is sort of faded out.

How can I get that menu bar to actually be visible?

I think I have managed, using Alt key!

Still can't increase font size though.

OK, I have managed by zooming in a few times.

I will leave this here in case someone else is daft like me and having problems.
