Older ipad running safari. Game play was perfect, everything showing up very nicely.

But it would not submit.

Ok! I think I fixed the mobile submit problem.

Pretty much what was happening was that if the "pop up keyboard" was used, the game wasn't checking for completion.

Give it a go now!

Yes, I think you've got it.

It's working well on my phone now.

Yeah I was able to submit as well

Scoring issue still remains though. I just took the test crossword in easy mode and it said I got full 100 points.

Easymode should be fixed.

I've just completed the latest crossword to be published, in difficult mode using Windows 10 Google Chrome. Filling in the answers was smooth running but I had problems submitting it, and probably spent a good minute clicking everywhere looking to achieve this. Eventually it was accepted, but not at all sure how.

.... incidentally the number of plays on the crossword is still shown as 0 plays, although when clicking on 'scores' it does show that I have completed it.

A small crossword puzzle done with Easy mode on submitted after a pop up appeared several times that said "Funtivia.com &=easymode" . Another medium size crossword puzzle done without the easy mode wouldn't submit. I erased some of the answers, turned on easy mode, toed in the answers, and .... It still wouldn't submit. No pop up window, nothing. I gave up. 50 points for the small crossword.

I've removed that debugging pop-up. Hopefully it's all working now? There really shouldn't be a difference between sizes

I completed a puzzle which was put online today (http://www.funtrivia.com/crossword/play.cfm?gid=5178). It submitted without any problems when I finished, but gave the message "Congratulations! You have been scored for this puzzle in the past." I had not previously played this puzzle.

Well, at the risk of possibly embarrassing myself again, the crossword backgrounds are back to being too bright, at least for me.

I don't know what happened the other day when things looked fine, and I don't recall the colors I saw.

But now, the squares in the grid are white (unless you're filling them in), the background is white, and the clues are white (unless you've clicked on one).

Could at least the background color be changed so that there's some contrast?

Thanks!

The edit links are broken. As a crossword editor, the Edit link is absent from the bottom of the main crossword page. from the previous page the edit and notes links do not work.

I can only edit CWs that are in the queue. Visually much better plus I can now 'see' CWs on iPad

Thanks in anticipation

I see the same thing, and would be really happy if the pastel shading could be brought back. It's much easier on the eyes.

Thanks Terry, as it is Christmas, please can I make another request as a crossword editor:
Please can you activate the "Accept Message" functionality on the CW Editors' page? This has never worked. SpanishLiz and I have to cut an paste the CW title into a personal message and email the successful CW the news their CW is now online. This is not very professional and time consuming. The "Accept Message" functionality works for the other 20 categories. Many Thanks
