I hope this is the right place to ask my question.

Was the song "A Christmas Love Song" by Johnny Mandel and Alan & Marilyn Bergman written for a movie? If so, which one?

Any info would be appreciated, or else a suggestion for a better forum on which to ask.

I have searched high and low but cannot find any association with a movie. The song has been covered by numerous artists, having been released in 1992, by Manhattan Transfer.

I have it on an album by Michael Feinstein, and, though my googling skills leave something to be desired (which is why I asked here), I did come across a reference to Johnny Mathis having recorded it. Not the Manhattan Transfer though. I love them! Thanks for the link, and for researching!

You see, I knew Johnny Mandel and the Bergmans usually write movie music, but the song wasn't from any movie I'd ever heard of. So glad I thought to ask.
