I'M BACK!!!! Whew and what an adventure it was ... many thanks to all of you for your good wishes for all of us and especially Sue and John for getting the pictures circulating. (and thre wouldn't have been a problem if I was in them, except of course if they were ugly

)
The story was that I was induced on the Friday morning and so it all started pretty quickly .... and then stopped. The labour wasn't going well at all and they were pumping all sorts of drugs into me ... contractions 2 minutes apart but only 4cm dilated, it could've gone on forever and indeed felt like it did!! They were monitoring the baby and his heart beat went down to only 70 (115-160 being normal) so panic stations and they decided to do the C-section and after that it all went very quickly. I was honestly soooo scared for the poor little thing but in the end a very healthy wail was heard and I cried like I never have before ... with excitement, pain, and most of all relief. So little Conor was born at 2:40 pm on Friday the 5th July.
I've been out of hospital for a couple hours now, have just got him settled into Tigergran's and straight onto the net to say thank you to all of you. He really is a beautiful baby but then again, aren't they all???
