I have to do a quiz by queenofsheba in one of todays challenges. There used to be a search box for finding different authors but I can't find it anywhere, am I missing something? The search box at top left of quizzes page only searches for quiz titles.

It's on the homepage, right under the logo for the site.

Tried that one, doesn't find it, says to try searching for their surname which obviously I don't know

Dizart, if you go to your own profile, there's search box toward the upper right that says 'Look up player'. That should work for you.

Interesting - the author should work on the homepage search, because it's a single-word name. It can't be the length of the name either, it finds my profile. It can't be quiz count because it finds Terry who only has a handful.

My suspicion would be that the author has been inactive for too long (2009) to have been indexed; I will investigate this further!

It happened to me last week also, with author "miaow", also a long-gone member. I did find it using my profile Search, thanks to helpers here. And someone on the chat board had the same situation yesterday (I don't know the author in question there).

miaow has also been offline for a long time, last seen in 2006. It seems older authors with no recent logins fall through the cracks.
