Dear Powers That Be,

My Difficult 'Daily Challenge' today was to set up my personal Daily Quiz for Difficult level and score 10 out of 10.

I ended up with 9 out of 10, and therefore failed to "win" my Difficult 'Daily Challenge', and therefore be credited with the 3 FunTrivia Credits available for completing the Difficult 'Daily Challenge'.

My issue with this is that I believe one of the questions on my Daily Quiz was wholly unfair.

The question was one of those where the "title" was "Name The Artist", and then the question was simply given as the song title, in this case "Voices", with the clue being given as "two words". My answer was "Cheap Trick". This was marked as wrong (despite clearly being correct), with the correct answer being given as Ann Lee.

Surely these types of questions shouldn't exist on this site, at least without some sort of context (it may well be that the quiz this question was taken from had some reference to songs of the 2000s or something, but taken out of context, it just makes no sense).

I feel that I have been unfairly deprived of the 3 FunTrivia Credits I should have rightfully received for completing my Difficult 'Daily Challenge', and would be very grateful if I could be credited with these.

As always, many thanks,
ClarkyB...

Sorry, we can't manually credit challenges. This is also in the terms and conditions:

You understand that FunTrivia player scores and awards will not be "reimbursed" or "undone" due to system bugs, network errors, personal computer issues, or any other reasons. It is simply not practical.

What you should have done instead of making a post here is send a correction note on the question - the second answer could have been added or the question eliminated from use in games. We can't however do that without having an exact reference to the question as there are hundreds of quizzes in "Name the Artist".

Obviously the quiz was an old one and we'd not accept it in this form any more (a match quiz is the proper format if the player just wants to give the song title and ask the artist). That however doesn't change old quizzes - we can't rework tens of thousands of quizzes that were put online according to older standards.
