
In contrast to Satguru's 'grotty' London...
This is a distant view of the fantastic 3 mile long sandy beach at Woolacombe in North Devon from the tiny hamlet of Mortehoe. Woolacombe's beach regularly ranks as the very best beach in the British Isles and was recently voted the fourth best in all of Europe.
However, the feather in the cap for the tiny village came in 2015 when the beach was ranked 13th in the world by users of Trip Advisor beating a number of beaches in more exotic locations such as Turkey, Florida and Australia.
