Just for reference, the methodology is below. It's unchanged from 2016/17, but just copying it here so no one will have to dig it out in the middle of the year.

There are ten games on that page and the raw placings are converted to a percentile for each game. So if there were exactly 25 larger teams in one specific game, the first would get 100 points, the second 96, third 92 and so on down to 4 for the last one. With 100 teams, it's 100, 99, 98, and so on. 73 teams and we get 100, 98.63, 97.26, etc. smile

For small teams (which do not necessarily have all scores displayed as there are a lot of one- and two-player teams that don't make the ranks), I count only the ones actually on the list. A small simplified example - if the only ranks on the list were 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 11, 12, 18 and 24 that would be ten teams and the #11 would rank 7th of those 10, for a percentile of 40.

The ten scores are added up for all teams that have at least five of the ten games with any placing, yielding the maximum 1000 per month. The ones with fewer are considered to not have participated; I won't embarrass anyone with a 0.68 out of 1000 score simply because that team had one player playing a single hourly game during the month.

Reuploaded scores to reflect proper current algorithm. Shouldn't use an old evaluation template...

Some apps are obviously quite useful and perform specialized functions. But we as a society in general have to find a way to bridge this largely generational gap where many "kids" (roughly 20 and under) won't even consider using something new if it doesn't have a (insert expletive of choice) app attached to it, even if one is not necessary. Down with the app empire!

I'm only telling you what might work, and as answerman pointed out, there's a whole generation of people who won't use the internet on their phones as long as there are apps available. In fact, I had an ad on my phone the other day for a trivia app that pays money. Now THAT's some stiff competition.

Of course it's only one or two rounds each day, with probably a mixed question pool, so this one could rather drive traffic for FT. People need to practice somewhere Now a days such apps are also prevalent in India. In one of such app, there is quiz only at 10:00 pm (IST) prize is around Rupees 80000-100000. It is distributed in Number of people who get all the questions correct. There are generally 10-12 questions. I just missed it yesterday. _________________________ "FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS......"
