I was wondering if the check mark to signify whether or not a person has already played a specific quiz can come back into our lives. I started reading all of the threads to find out, but I got dizzy.

I believe it has been replaced. THe quizzes I've done are tick-marked in the number block and the entire horizontal quiz block is shaded. Is this not working for you?

It's working for you because you're an editor GS It will be available shortly as part of a "gold membership" option to non-editors.

Hi Lew. How are you? Well, thanks for getting my hopes up...was looking for little "tick marks," whatever those are.
Terry, I will buy you a beer everyday for a month if I can have those tick marks too. Ummm, or just a coke if that is what you prefer.

I was wondering about those tick marks, too. They made the site much less confusing. If you play a lot of quizzes, it's rather difficult to keep track of all of them, especially as many in the same categories have similar names. Today I noticed another change: you couldn't tell whether you'd already played a quiz or not until AFTER you'd taken it. That struck me as an inefficient and confusing system. Any chance those tick marks will be brought back for all of the regular players (non-editor types)?

I should second Rosanna. Today I decided to take a random quiz from General section and since I have been on the site for quite some time I did not recognize this quiz. It had 25 questions and I spent prolly half an hour trying to guess the right answers . It was alright since I am accoustomed to that trying, but what really disappointed me was when i came to the bottom of the quiz and it said that I already took it. Even if the checkmarks are reserved for Gold Members, could there be at least some kind of signal before the quiz was taken that it was played already? I don't mind refreshing the memory on an old quiz, but i would rather just go to reading the answers if I already have the points rather than spend my time trying to think of something. Can anything be done?

I also agree with everyone here - a way to know which quizes you have already taken is a good idea.
