I think one of the things that helps you see the errors better if you use preview as well as edit to proofread your work is the change of font. Different things spring to the eye. I know I sorely miss the chance to see my information there for a match quiz. I always feel a bit as if I haven't yet done a thorough proofread, even though I wrote in a word processor before copying to the template, and read it again in the edit screen.
The preview screen is still valuable, of course - it lets you see if an answer or question is significantly longer than the others in the play screen, and distorts the presentation unduly. Since they are much shorter than in a standard quiz, there is less chance of having missed a typo, but it's still worth looking at it.
