Terry,
Is it possible to have the option of "return to where I was" after playing a CW? The page always defaults back to the New Crossword page. Quite time consuming when accessing the CWs from a player's profile or when one is working from a specific category which isn't the New Crossword page.

I also see that the crosswords I've played do not show up as highlighted on the player's profile (they do, of course, on the CW pages). Is there any way of changing that as well?

Many thanks,
Barbara

Highlighted would be good for those we've played most definitely.

But I came in to ask if we can search for a crossword by name in the FT search box on the Home Page? I just tried doing so on a known one, but they don't appear to be listed.

I've got a problem with the clues not showing up. Grid is there, but no clues. It was working fine about 3-4 hours ago. Help please?

Barbini -- will take a look into adding that.

brian -- try closing your browser entirely and restarting. If it was there but now not then it's almost certainly a browser issue.

Having any luck with this, Terry?

Perhaps, until you have time to work on the issue, you would consider setting up a "pin this page" for each page. That would help a lot in the meantime.

Many thanks!

If you want to play several crosses / quizzes from the same page, why not just use "open in new Tab" (or window)? That's what I do even for quizzes because unlike the "return me to where I came from" that also keeps my scrolled position within the page.

Good point, Wes. I'll give that a go. However, it would be still be nice to be able to return to the same page after I close out my tabs for whatever reason. I'm working my way methodically through General...I'll be a while.

More requests:

Could it possible to rate the crossword puzzles like we do the quizzes, please?

Are the crossword authors receiving points for creating crosswords yet? If not, they deserve points!

Is it possible for them to receive kitchen ingredients too, please?

Amongst a number of other requests concerning incentives for crossword authors, I have raised these suggestions in the past. I remain hopeful there may be some movement towards the introduction of such additions in the future.

From a personal point of view I have no interest in receiving points for the compilation of crosswords, my reward is simply the creation of a final grid that satisfies my objective, and receiving the odd compliment or two from solvers.

However, the ability to rate crosswords by those solving them, together with the introduction of Editor's choice etc as provided for quizzes, is surely an addition that is merited?
