Several years ago I came across an unopened and very old tube of Preparation H in our office first aid kit. I absconded with it and have put it to a variety of uses since then. Among them are greasing door hinges and the mechanisms of my office chair, removing sticky label residue from my typewriter roller and lubricating the two hole punch. It really works!

The mind boggles as to why that was in the office first aid kit anyway! I have always wondered what sort of person finds strange uses for things - now we know

Maybe we should start a thread in Chains and see how many uses we could get for Prep H.

Think it would remove the label from a wine bottle? We could drink the wine and find out! PARTY TIME!

I actually think it would, June! You just have to let it sit for a while. We could knock off a few more bottles while we're waiting!

Let's start the with Cabernet Sauvignon or the Chardonnay. But I would have to insist that we cap it all off with a little of that great Canadian Ice Wine!

I think we need a tipsy smilie.
