I found myself unable to get back to sleep as it was so damn hot in the early hours of this morning. So, I jumped into the car and drove to Berry Head, a small promontory just to the east of the small fishing town of Brixham, in the hope of capturing a few images of the Milky Way and this is one of forty-eight long exposure images.
The small building in the foreground is the visible part of an underground complex, now disused, that was operated by the Royal Observer Corps from the period beginning in the inter-war years through until the ending of the Cold War.
