In previous GCs, we could see where we ranked by state and country - but that seems to have disappeared. I'm sure I'm not the only one who really misses it. Can we get it back?

One other suggestion, a search box on the forum would be useful, so we don't have multiple threads on the same subject....

As to the country stuff, it has actually been discontinued several years ago - that particular page was just left in place (there were a few others that survived the formal discontinuation for a while). I'm not sure why Terry removed it now, maybe something at the back end changed so it would no longer work.

There is a quite detailed search on the forum. If you look at the top menu, you'll find it between "Active Topics" and "FAQ".

Aha.... found it, thanks!

And it would be lovely to have some way to determine what one's score is on GC, to know how far below #100 one is! Serves me right for forgetting to play.... I'd skipped the previous two GCs after religiously playing every single one.

Official answer: The GC was designed to specifically not disclose the exact scores in points. The progress bars are what you get.

You can use your team GC standings page to see your own progress bar at the same scale as the one used in the top 100. Use a ruler or a screenshot plus a pixel count to compare smile

Also, at a division boundary, you can just compare your graduation date with that of the #100 to see how many days you are behind. Near the end of the game, the "top in division" for #9 will help you check (make sure to adjust for HC immortals!)

Unofficial answer: There is a way to figure out exact scores and thresholds in the GC, but it requires a bit of computer skill and math. I'll just say that it can be done with any major web browser without any add-ons. If you do figure it out, have fun, but please keep your results and techniques to yourself - thanks smile
