We had a full house this week though George95 missed the Sydney vs Brisbane match due to late tips, lodged after the game had ended.
Sydney inflicted the first away loss for Perth this season as they edged them 1-0, the Glory never had a shot on target and Sydney will cement second spot if Melbourne Victory does not win. Speaking of Melbourne Victory, they travelled to Adealide the following night and went down to an 81st minute headed goal. This means Victory will finish 3rd and Adealide will most likely finish 4th barring 2 upsets in the final round, both teams will have a home play-off game in round 1 if this happens. Newcastle headed to Brisbane and put 6 past the hapless Roar. Central Coast won for only the third time this season as they accounted for Western Sydney in Gosford, only a little bright news in an abysmal season. Wellington hosted Melbourne City with both teams needing a win to keep the pressure on Adelaide, despite City dominating possession it could have gone and it took a 94th minute goal from hat-trick hero Roy Krishna to win it for the Phoenix. However they now need to beat Perth away and hope Brisbane get a result against Adelaide. An Adelaide loss would mean a draw for Wellington would also see them finish 4th but it is unlikely.
We were back to about normal for the A-League as we went 21/54 for a strike rate of 38.88%. We had no perfect game, the closest being the 8 of us who tipped Wellington to beat Melbourne City though it looked unlikely heading past the 90th minute. However, no one thought Central Coast would beat Western Sydney.
Another solo weekly win this round as srini701 went 4/5 while ozzz2002 took home the spoon with a magnificent 0/5.
Now that everyone has a weekly win and a wooden spoon it leaves the bonus point column still to be filled. We are down to the last two without a bonus point so gtho4 and ElfTwinkle still have a massive amount of work to do with just 1 round left.
We now have sorted put who will be on the podium (unless the bizarre happens) as LeoDaVinci enjoys a 1 point lead over paper_aero with N-Bomb a further point back with paper_aero holding an unbeatable tie-break advantage over LeoDaVinci, followed by N-Bomb. Paper_aero will be cursing the Phoenix as if that ended in a draw he would be in the box seat. At the bottom it is the turn of Sypher to leap back over ElfTwinkle and have a 1 point lead.
No weekly win or spoon for wwe84 so he now has either a weekly win or a wooden spoon in 20 of the 26 rounds so far.

We had a full house this week though George95 missed the Brisbane vs Adelaide match due to late tips, lodged after the game had ended.
Brisbane finished their season by conceding another 5 goals, making it 71 for the 27 game season, the win secures 4th place for Adelaide and a home play-off match against the 5th place team. Melbourne City also scored 5 goals against the hapless Central Coast and with this result means they will finish 5th if Perth beat Wellington by at least 2 goals. Newcastle were to clinical for second place Sydney with goals either side of half-time being enough to earn only their second win against the Sky Blues in 19 attempts. Melbourne Victory edged Western Sydney 1-0 to set themselves up for their home play-off game against the 6th place team. By the time Wellington played they knew they could not finish 4th so put out a team with a number of younger players and bench players against Perth and it showed as they were completely outplayed by the premiers, the Glory being the 3rd team this round to score 5 goals. The first play-off round sees Melbourn Victory host Wellington and Adelaide host Melbourne City.
We finished the season by going 30/54 for a strike rate of 55.55%, can we take this momentum into the 2020 season?. We had no perfect game, the closest being Adelaide, Melbourne City and Perth wins which saw 8 correct tips for each game. The remaining 2 games were the trickiest to tip though both had 3 correct tips each.
A final solo weekly win this round as N-Bomb went 4/5 while srini701 took home the last spoon in the drawer with 1/5.
Now that everyone has a weekly win and a wooden spoon it leaves the bonus point column still to be filled. We are down to the last two without a bonus point so gtho4 and ElfTwinkle will need to travel back in time to complete this column.
It is all over for another year and LeoDaVinci did what was needed in the final round, had identical tips to paper_aero so was guaranteed to finish ahead. The other danger was N-Bomb and despite a weekly win finish, could not beat LeoDaVinci by the required 3 points. Therefore LeoDaVinci takes the gold medal by 1 point over paper_aero and N-Bomb. We needed a tie-break to determine the silver medal winner and it went to paper_aero who had a +6 differential compared to N-Bomb's +2, leaving N-Bomb with the bronze medal. ElfTwinkle takes hime the major wooden spoon after finishing 1 point behind Sypher at the bottom.
Two interesting stats - 1) LeoDaVinci lead (solo or joint) for 24 of the 27 rounds, including the final 23 weeks so finds a palce in the Hall of Fame, 2) wwe84 had a weekly win or spoon in 20 of the 27 rounds.

Hats off to LeoDaVinci who dominated this season and take out his first A-League title, he managed to withsatand all challenges despite feeilng the pressure all season. Well done to paper_aero for his silver medal and a special mention for N-Bomb's attempt to make it 4 titles in a row, he finished with a bronze medal on countback, just a point behind LeoDaVinci. ElfTwinkle finishes at the bottom of the standings so only one direction to go next season. Thank you to all that tipped and congratulations to the three on the podium. Can any one take the title away from LeDaVinci? We shall find out next season when the next edition of the A-League tipping competition kicks-off.
