9/15 is perfect for difficult, I just wondered about the label. Difficult at 9, Intermediate at 11 and Easy at 13 is about where it should land.

Ok just did another test reset + division rebalance. Question set difficulty should be "Intermediate" regardless of what the label says.

I like this game, even if it will add even more angst to the "never change your answer" stress I already suffer from!

I played it twice. Disgraced myself the first time, moved up to Level 2 the second time. It looks great

Just a PSA in case anyone plays tonight: It has automatically switched into "night mode" where it reduces the number of divisions automatically (and re-scales your assigned division based on this smaller number).

Since it's not resetting hourly, it won't make any sense tonight, since the play records from the day time are still there. But, it's all working as intended.

Division 4 players, which I was in yesterday, don't show up in any of the other re-scaled divisions. I understand it's in test mode - not sure if the information is helpful to you but thought I'd let you know anyway.

I know it's a test, but here is the info this morning.

You have already played the current set
You will need to wait until this game resets to be able to play it again.

Our records show that you scored 8 questions correctly in 79 seconds.

It is a game called 50-50 that Terry is testing.

Try it, you'll like it!

Ok, the game is now on an hourly schedule:

http://www.funtrivia.com/fifty/index.cfm

Feel free to play. Next step is to add the standings pages, etc, and then badges.

Here's another type of question which probably should be filtered out:

Who was NOT born on September 26th?

Your answer: American tennis player Serena Williams

The correct answer was Scottish comedian Billy Connolly

Interesting concept here with this 50/50 type game. Will the question database be based off of existing quizzes/questions or will there be additional content added specifically for 50/50? I think for Word Wizard and Who Am I new content was added from the FT userbase tailored for those games. This game could benefit from that.

I agree. When I create distractors, one or more are real and one is often a throwaway. If the 50-50 game randomly chooses the distractor or wrong answer, it might not be the best one to make the question a good one. Tailor made questions would probably be closer in probability to being right.

I love this new game, though.

Thanks for always making new and great stuff for us to do here.

Maybe I am misremembering, but I don't believe Billy Connolly was one of the two choices. I seem to remember going back to check. Maybe I just had a senior moment but I thought both choices were incorrect. I'll triple check next time.

Yeah, the correct answer will still show up as a correct answer - unless something pretty serious has gone wrong.

Ok have decided to throw in a bit of a twist: this game will be a TWO HOUR game. i.e. it will reset every 120 minutes.

Just played for the first time, seems to be working well. Accurate score, points awarded, interesting concept.

** and for full disclosure, monthly stats will be wiped clean when the game officially goes public
