Next week the Sydney Roosters will face Canberra Raiders in the 2019 NRL Grand Final

Will Sydney Roosters be the first team since Brisbane Broncos in 1992 & 1993 to win back to back premierships or will Canberra Raiders end their 25 year drought & win their first premiership since 1994.

Bloody hope so! It was a very nerve-wracking win over Melbourne.

Canberra were cheated by the referee, awarding them another six tackles and then changing his mind

It's time the NRL admitted that two referees is a dismal failure. I was at the game and there seemed to be two sets of rules; each ref had a different interpretation of what "10 metres" meant, and how long defenders could lie all over an attacking player (to slow down the play) before getting up.

The six tackle fiasco was a joke, and a farce, as it affected the play. If Canberra knew that it was the last tackle they would've kicked it; but they played on as the ref (which one?) had waved six more. Easts got the ball back and two tackles later score a try and it was all over, as there were only seven minutes left.

btw up in the stands we all thought that one ref had waved six more and the other ref didn't see it .. and Ricky Stewart deserves a medal for not blowing up in the post-match press conference
