Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone here did any type of spinning. My husband got me a drop spindle class for our anniversary and him and my Mom went together and got me a spinning wheel class for my birthday. I don't know how to do much other than basic spin and ply, but if people here spin and enjoy it, I'd love to visit.

I had to read your message twice before the penny dropped and I realised you meant rreal spinning, of wool and stuff, and not the sporty "spinning" exercise classes

I still can't help you, mind you. I know nothing about spinning other than that it's fascinating how an unruly pelt can be turned into such a neat and useful ball of wool!

Hey now, Raven. I've been spinning for 10 years. I learned by reading this

http://www.earthguild.com/products/riff/rspindrp.htm

I like drop spinning more than using a spinning wheel because I have more control.

Felt-making is cool too and requires little skill. I used to teach it to children at the Waldorf school my non-binary first-born attended.
