The weather here was pretty good early this morning so I decided to recce a spot on Dartmoor that I've been meaning to visit for a while now. This is Foggintor Quarry, about 3 miles from the little town of Princetown (site of the famous HM Prison Dartmoor).
Foggintor is a popular location with the Royal Marines who frequently practice abseiling here down the sheer cliffs... Sadly, and by design, the training staff often ensure that their recruits take a refreshing dip in the cold waters at the end of their abseil!
