That got you in here! The kids saw a report of an enormous squid fished up on the Gold Coast...can you please substantiate this? If it made the news here in France, it must have been big!

Is it an urban legend?
I heard a figure for the size that seems unbelievable.

Heather, one Aussie reporting for duty, Sir.
I think this is what you looking for. A Fishy Tale
At the same time, a great white shark beached itself in northern New South Wales- another rare occurrence.

Re: The end of 'A fishy tale'

I wouldn't mind it tasting like floor cleaner. It might even be an improvement on some of my cooking

Was he swimming around the nukes or something?
My my!
THat is incredible...
I knew he had to be big when the French news put it on.

What did you do, dump some Vegemite out there or something?

You know someone might like to sell him to the Japanese to make a sequel to Godzilla!

Hi TW, here's a link to a Hawaiian specialty that I really loved...but I like chewy consistencies.

Looks like news outlets in France as as accurate as ours- the Gold Coast is about as close to Tasmania as Cannes is to Poland

Heather, if we used Vegemite as bait, we would be up to our armpits in calamari; isn't Vegemite the reason that Australia is such a popular place with the overseas tourists?

Oi, Heather ... you just leave the beetroot on the hamburgers alone! A hamburger just isn't the same without it

Ah yes ...I'd give the recipes a try. Give those delicate flavours, which took hours to bring out, a liberal dousing with 'Daddies' or HP brown sauce and I'm sure they'd taste lovely.
