The rules:
  • Pick a winner and score a point.
  • Pick a draw and score a point (draws are very rare).
  • One bonus point for perfect picks.
  • Default is equal to the wooden spoon score.
  • Ties - Final placings will be decided on HoF/WS differential and then, if equal,
    total HoF awards (and then total number of bonus points, if required).

This year the Super League will have extra-time golden point if the game's a draw at full-time (like the NRL) and, like the NRL, the final AET result result will be used for the tipping comp. The RFL (Rugby Football League) have abandoned the experiment with a Super 8s tournament at the back end of the season; it's now back to a normal "home and away regular season".

The first round of the tipping comp kicks-off on Thursday 21st February and the comp ends after 27 rounds on the weekend of Friday 13th September.

  • In 2016 we had 13 runners, which was the same as the year before (when ElfTwinkle replaced BxBarracuda). The following year we again had 13 runners, and it was an identical field to 2016. Last year we welcomed dg_dave and lost illiniman14.
  • This year we welcome LeoDavinci .. welcome aboard!
  • Everyone from last year is back except for dg_dave, which gives us a field of 13 for the 5th straight year.
  • London Broncos were promoted after an absence of 4 years, replacing the relegated Widnes Vikings.
  • We start this year's campaign with nine winners and four spoons (and no-one in between); and no bonus points. The defending titleholder is Howie72 .. Dizart and N-Bomb were the other two on the podium.
