Last night I submitted a new single question to the History category, but today when I checked to make sure there wasn't any correction to be done on it, it has vanished altogether. Not in either queues.

Could this be checked please?

I've written it out again and re-submitted it, so fingers crossed it makes it this time.

Question Take II is showing up in the queue.

I'll put it all down to Gremlins. It couldn't be that I may not have pressed Enter the first time around, oh dear me no. Perish the thought

I know there hasn't been a response on this; I think it's because we don't really have a way to determine what happened here. If the question wasn't submitted, there would be no record of it. Without a question number, I can't track to see if someone accidentally deleted it.

Sorry for the lack of follow-up; I just don't know where any of us can start to look into it. :s

Best case scenario, if it was queued, maybe one of the editors of that category saw it and know, but that would require asking them directly.

I know I have accidentally sent back a question when I meant to accept it, so I suppose it's potentially feasible that a question could have been accidentally deleted.

I wrote a couple of single questions in the Great Quiz Race II challenge pitstop. They showed on the "submitted" section for a couple of days and now this AM one has disappeared. I don't know if that means accepted or rejected. My counter on the page still reads ZERO and I don't know where to go to find out the final status on the vanished question.

On the single question submission page, right hand side, there is a link called 'My Contributions: Not Yet Rated'. Clicking on this should tell you what has happened with the question.

As well, out of curiosity, would you mind noting which category you submitted to? We can always check to see if it's still queued, but it's tough to locate unless there's a bit more context.

I just experienced a similar thing that Creedy did. I submitted a Sports question. I remember writing it and labeling it VOLLEYBALL and submitting it. In fact, I remember seeing it among the unrated quizzes. But now it is gone from that list, and it has not been returned to me by an editor. It's just vanished.
