Hello All!

I have been trying to participate; however, I have been termporarily locked out from submitting quizzes because the site says it has detected abnormal activity from my account. It says it does this because it thinks I could be a potential spammer. It also says that the situation is reviewed every 24 hours. I don't know when I'll be able to start back helping--if at all--today.

I am very frustrated, irritated, etc.

"For the time being, I have found a way around it. If I play quizzes as timed quizzes, the site is letting me play and submit."

Hmm ban list is showing as empty... he should have full access right now?

Terry, he's still having problems. He can play timed, but not untimed.

I'm still not able to play regular quizzes. However, I can play the quizzes that have "Timed" options. Do you or does he have any idea what this could be about?

Hmm are you able to get the exact error message being received?

Now that I am at home on my desk computer, I have no problem. However, when I am using my iPhone or iPad, I still can't submit quizzes I'm playing. I've been doing this for ten years and never had a problem. It's strange.

Here's the message I'm getting.

Quiz Cannot be Submitted

Our system has detected abnormal activity in quiz submits coming from your ISP. As such, we are disallowing quiz submits at this time for your ISP. If this is in error, our apologies. This is being done to stop spamming and denial of service attacks against our servers.

Our system can detect this sort of attack if you submit blank quizzes, spam a large number of quizzes in a short period of time without actually playing them, or use a computer to attempt to play quizzes for you. None of these activities is allowed as per our terms of service.

These blocks are temporary and are reviewed and potentially removed every 24 hours.

I have been trying to talk a teammate through getting into the forums. For some reason she says she has attempted to register, but was told to wait for an email, which has never arrived. She says she's checked her junk.

I don't recall having to wait for an email when I registered for the forums.

This is em1958. I would appreciate some assistance.
