HairyBear Mainstay Registered: Fri Sep 01 2006 Posts: 711 Loc: Florida USA	There's something wonky with the results listed from yesterday's Piece of Cake and Mixed Trivia games. The Team Info page lists different numbers from the Ranks page for each. For example, yesterday, the Wizards scored 1705 points in Cake and the Demons scored 1625, but the Ranks page still lists the results from day before yesterday, showing the Demons scoring 1782 points to the Wizards' 1701. The actual numbers seem to have been added to our monthly scores, so that's okay... we went up from a sub-500 point lead to a 568 point lead in Cake, but the Ranks page being wrong is disconcerting. Who's the Smartest looks right, but Mixed Trivia is similarly incorrect.

The team rankings stuff is some of the more complex and convoluted code on the whole site so this may be difficult to track down. Any other observations (i.e. does this fix itself over the next couple of days?) etc would be helpful.

Terry Head Honcho Registered: Wed Dec 31 1969 Posts: 21448 Loc: USA	Ok think I fixed it. Were 2 different issues... one was a tie at the 200th position, when recalculated sometimes considered a player from 1 team and sometimes another.

Thanks for looking into it. So his switching teams after midnight shouldn't have cost the Demons 160 points, then, is that correct?
